We’ve been making Active Hands aids for seven years now, but we never cease to be amazed at the huge range of tasks they make possible. The aids were initially designed for use mainly around the home, but time has told a much bigger story.

Take tricycles for example, specially designed for under fives with disabilities such as cerebral palsy. We found that if we made our aids small enough, they were perfect to help yougsters hold onto their handlebars. Thus the Active Hands Mini was born!

Or how about using gym equipment? Our aids are now proving popular at fitness centres up and down the country, for Tetraplegics and stroke sufferers alike, as a major part of their rehabilitation.

From snooker to skiing, kayaking up a river to knocking a nail in, we’ve seen Active Hands Gripping Aids benefiting people in many different pursuits.
